iPhone Music Ed Appshttp://www.appolicious.com/curated-apps/301-music-education
Here's I site I stumbled upon. appolicious.com is a website in conjunction with Yahoo that allows users to sign up and rate different apps. The user 'woodwindtech' has a list of iPhone apps that they have found useful while teaching. Most of the apps were not free so I didn't end up buying them, however there was one that was free. It's a basic ear trainer that would be a great tool for students to use to help practice their aural skills. Arts Alivehttp://www.artsalive.ca/en/mus/index.asp
I just found this great website put up by the National Arts Centre for music education. The website has more of an early years focus, but it has resources for teachers and parents. The site also provides video & audio recordings along with podcasts put out by the NAC. Some of the resources included in the site include Resource Kits around famous composers, Lesson Plans, Bios of Composers and FAQ's. |
